Renovated bathroom with freestanding bath and patterned floor tiles

03 — Renovations

Restraint, Applied Well

Full internal renovations and refurbishments that respect a property’s character while quietly upgrading everything beneath the surface — rewiring, replumbing, insulation and layout, finished with the same care as the visible work.

What’s Involved

Beneath the Surface, Not Just On It

A renovation that only touches finishes doesn’t last. We look at what’s behind the plaster and under the floor before we look at tile choices — ageing wiring, tired plumbing runs, damp, insulation levels — and deal with it as part of the same project, not a surprise halfway through. Bathrooms, kitchens and whole-property refurbishments are all handled by the same in-house team, coordinated so trades don’t undo each other’s work.

Our Approach

Character Kept, Everything Else Upgraded

Older Leeds housing stock — stone terraces, 1930s semis, Victorian villas — usually has proportions and detailing worth keeping. Our approach is to identify what makes a room work architecturally and protect it, while replacing everything that’s failing behind the scenes. The result should feel like the house was always this comfortable, not like it’s been visibly redone.

Renovating Often Means Opening Up

Many of our renovation projects include removing a wall or repositioning a doorway — see how we handle that structural side of the work.
